...Sheheryar Mohsin Qureshi sent me the following:

Salam!
Dr. Sahab, is it still true especially for the manufacturing sector? I mean how can we figure out that imformation age means totally going without industry? For several sectors, this might be true, especially for people doing business online and for service sector too, however, i am unable to imagine garments, automobiles, aircrafts, watches, bags, fans, stoves, glass, medicines being manufactured outside industry? Or may they are not manufactured at all.
Also, in the western world and in most of the developed Asian nations, everything has gone "e", still conventional methods and chairs are in place with an intention not to get vanished. MIT, Harvard, Cambridge, NUS, etc. all still have "permanent" job theory in practice. This sort of replacement does not seem much logical for all sectors, or i must say it is even not valid for most of the sectors.
Yes, to an extent, we may say that a big portion can be tranaformed into the way you are stating. For e.g. marketing and selling sides will go "e" and such professionals shall be in demand who can achieve goals of such projects, working from their homes - concept of virtual office.
I dont disagree with your opinions and research on the subject, i just need to clarify a few simple things.
Kindly do not mention any book for further reading, i just need your own opinion. This all does not correspond to enterpreneurship, this is asked and discussed in the light of explaining a bit more "the information age."Dr Irfan Hyderhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18217888664188184954noreply@blogger.com
